Toledo Open Recap, September & October Update

Hey guys,

First of all, welcome to my website! I need to say a quick thank you to my good friend Nick for helping me format this website and also for creating my logo! This website will allow me to keep  you updated on my progress through my journey in professional golf with my results, schedule, highlights, and future plans.  As many of you already know, I recently turned pro at the Toledo Open hosted at Highland Meadows Golf Club.  Overall, I would say that my first event as a pro was great step in the right direction, and it validated a lot of the hard work that I put into my game over the last few months.  I finished at three under par for the two day  and tied for 7th out of 112 players.  At the time I didn’t realize that heading into the last three holes, I was only one shot off the lead, but ultimately I finished with back-to-back bogeys due to mis-clubbing in the windy conditions.  Although I was extremely disappointed with the finishing holes,  a top ten finish in my first start as a professional is a huge confidence boost for me to build off of as I head into the winter months.  Since Toledo I have been working nonstop on my game and fitness and have been playing great golf.  Currently I am preparing to head to the Orlando area in early December to play mini tour events and to get ready for the Mackenzie Tour Qualifying School in March.

As always, thank you to everyone for your support, and I look forward to updating you with my progress when I get to Orlando.
